What if I am running late?

How do I recognise my guide?
Look for a blue Original Hamburg Walks badge at the meeting point. The guide arrives approximately 15 minutes before departure.
What should I wear?
Comfortable walking shoes and clothing suited to the forecast. Bring water and protection from sun or rain.
Is there a break?
Discover Hamburg includes a coffee and bathroom break. Refreshments are at your own expense.
Are museum entry fees included?
Discover Hamburg explores the city on foot and its exterior landmarks. Museum admission is not included. Ask us about arrangements for private tours.
Is Discover Hamburg wheelchair accessible?
The tour is described as wheelchair-friendly, but street surfaces and temporary works can affect the route. Contact us before booking so we can discuss your needs. Guides cannot provide personal mobility assistance.
Can children join?
Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Check the booking tool for the available ticket categories.
Can I bring a dog?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome. If a dog disrupts the tour, the guide may ask its owner to leave.
What language is the public tour in?
Discover Hamburg is led in English. Ask about other languages for private tours.
Is tipping expected?
Tips are optional and always appreciated if you enjoyed your guide’s tour.
Can you collect us from our hotel?
Hotel pickup may be possible for a private tour. Public tours start at the advertised meeting point.
